^{What's a zine?}

A zine (short for magazine) is a collection of artwork and/or writing that is self-published in physical or digital version with often in addition, have some merch included.For our project, we decided to make a zine and some merch around the theme of Splatoon and Halloween

^{Will there be a digital or physical copy of this zine?}

For now, we're focusing only on a digital version. However, if we ever find someone that has knowledge on this field, a physical copy might be something we consider!

^{How many contributors are you looking to recruit?}

We're looking to recruit around 45 page artists, 15/20 merch artists, about 10 musicians, around 15 writers !For moderators, we are looking for 2 graphics mods, 1 musicians mods, 1 writer mods, 1 social network mod, 1/2 comms mod and 2 general support mods !If the zine get to be physical, we will also look for 2 mods that can deal with the physical production of the zine and the redistribution of the total gain this zine would potentially make in case of said physical version

^{What merchandise will you be including?}

Since our zine is digital, we're looking to create mostly printables like Bookmarks, Stickers, Phone & Pc Wallpaper, Papercraft, Poster, Emotes, Printable Candy Bag, Possibly a Card Game, Icon Frames, ect.. and a soundtrack collection !If in any case, a physical version saw the day, we're looking to create posters/postcard, stickers, standee, tot bag, deskmat, acrylic pencil box, stamp, enamel pin, acrylic keychain and/or lenticular card
Those are only some ideas that will evolve depending the interest check, financial situation, bundle cost, contributor pitch and many other detailsThough we're exploring the possibility for other merch items. Our interest check will help determine which merch makes the cut.

^{Is this zine for profit?}

This zine is normally, not for profit, everything will be completely free upon release in the digital version and we encourage our supporters to consider donating to other Splatoon zines that support charitable causes.HOWEVER, if we find mods that can handle the physical production of the zine, the physical part will be for profit and the final gains will be distributed among all the contributor and teamBut don't consider joining the zine just for profit as it would only be for profit if a physical version is planned, wich will be knows only when mods application will close

^{Is there an age requierement?}

All we ask is for you to be 13+, which is the age minimum to use Discord, which is our primary source of communication with contributors!However, we still didn't discuss about how the financial distribution will be handle (18+ only might get a gains from it for legal reason, we still need to consider it) if we have a physical version

^{Is traditional and 3D allowed?}

Yes! 3D art and renders are completely alright! For traditional art, we ask that you have a high-quality scan of your piece ^^"

^{Is prior experience needed?}

No! We review applications by portfolio and pitches, not by experience!
